Art for All
Back in November 2019, we had the privilege of being part of an incredibly meaningful event—Art for All, hosted by HELP International School in collaboration with the Rotary Club of USJ and SMA Care. The event was organized to raise awareness and funds for families affected by Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA), and we were truly touched by the outpouring of support from the community.
YB Maria Chin was present to pledge her support, and Ms. Lim Meng Hong from Christie’s Malaysia graciously served as our auctioneer. A total of 59 beautiful artworks were showcased, with 11 pieces auctioned off and the rest sold. Thanks to the generosity of all who attended, over RM50,000 was raised to support families living with SMA.
One of the most touching moments of the afternoon was hearing the stories of two families directly affected by SMA. Their experiences, though deeply moving, were also filled with hope and resilience. It is events like this that remind us why we continue to push forward—to provide care, raise awareness, and offer hope to the SMA community.
We are incredibly grateful for the turnout from both the school community and guests. Your support has had a lasting impact, and we hope the awareness raised continues to ripple through our society, opening doors for more families to receive the care and funding they need.
Thank you to everyone who supported Art for All in 2019—your generosity is still making a difference today.
