I’m Adra, and I’m 5 years old now. When I was just 1 year old, I received a very important treatment for SMA. If I didn’t get this treatment, I might not be here today, just like my brother who passed away due to SMA. My whole family misses him very much. Thanks to the treatment, I’m doing much better now, and I’m able to enjoy every moment with my family. My mum works part-time on weekends and does courier service on weekdays, and I love going to work with her because it means I get to go out and explore new places. It’s always an adventure! Even though I’m no longer in need of treatment, I still dream of going to school like other kids. I want to learn, play, and make new friends just like everyone else. Please share my story so other kids with SMA can get the treatment they need. If my friends can receive funding from the government for their treatment, they won’t have to struggle as much. I want them to have the chance to enjoy life just like I do now.
